The Latin verb movere means to move. It is the root of many English words, such as "motivation," "emotion," and "momentum". Beyond the literal meaning of "to move," it can also mean to arouse or affect, to stir up or provoke, to set in motion.

I am proud to say that things are taking shape and after a long period of stillness there is finally momentum. Movere Media is a passionate project I have been quietly working on for years, collaborating with other entrepreneurs and free-thinkers to develop their dreams and passions into something sustainable. I believe that community and connectedness are key to growing any successful business and I would love to help be that support for anyone seeking it. For years, I attributed any success I had to myself. I was proud to call myself "self-made" because I was not given many of the opportunities that a lot of my peers had. It was a high horse in which to look down at others who had less. It's a long fall when you realize that you would not be here without the kindness, encouragement, or persistence of others. Now I call myself "community-made", for I am the culmination of everyone who held out their hand to pick me up when I fell.
